SERVICES & RATES

Thoughtful care, structured around your life.

A range of session options to meet your unique needs. Whether you're just beginning therapy, continuing ongoing work, or navigating a new challenge.

Session Options

All sessions are held virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.

Initial Intake Session

75 MINUTES

An extended first session designed to address formalities and give us space to get to know each other, talk through what's bringing you to therapy, and begin shaping a direction for our work together. This longer format allows us to cover necessities and move beyond paperwork and into meaningful conversation.

$225

Individual Counseling Sessions

60 MINUTES

Ongoing weekly or biweekly sessions for adults and teens. Together, we'll work through whatever is bringing you to therapy: anxiety, overwhelm, ADHD, life transitions, relationships. We’ll use mindfulness-based practices, CBT, and DBT skills you can use in real life.

$175

Couples & Family Sessions

75 MINUTES

Support for couples and families working through conflict, communication patterns, life transitions, or parenting challenges. These sessions are slightly longer to give everyone space to be heard and to leave each session with something practical to try.

$225

Brief Check-In Sessions

30 MINUTES

A shorter, focused session for existing clients. Designed for skill fine-tuning, processing a specific situation, or a quick check-in between regular appointments when you need a little extra support.

$100

Complimentary Consultation

15 MINUTES

A free phone call to see if we're a good fit before booking your first session. You ask questions, I listen, and we figure out whether working together makes sense.

Payment & Insurance

Private pay practice. The Mind's Harbor is a fee-for-service practice and does not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service, and all major credit and debit cards, HSA, and FSA cards are accepted through a secure client portal.

Out-of-network benefits. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network mental health coverage, which may reimburse a portion of your session fee. Upon request, I provide monthly "superbills" that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recommend calling your insurance provider before starting to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.

Why private pay? Working outside of insurance allows us to focus fully on your care, without requiring a formal diagnosis, limits on session frequency, or outside parties reviewing your records. It protects your privacy and gives us more flexibility in how we work together.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the federal No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining the expected cost of services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services, including psychotherapy. I will provide a written estimate at least one business day before your first scheduled session, and you are welcome to request one at any time.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
